Hi I'm Sky!

Studied: Civil Engineering

Hi everyone! My name is Sky Wang, and I’m this year’s Deputy President (Activities).

During my time at CGCU I have helped organise events such as the Welcome Dinner and if you attended one, you may still remember our Engineering song, BOOMALAKA! These experiences showed me just how special the Imperial community can be. I’ve really enjoyed my time here, even though the intense workload has occasionally come as a bit of a shock!

A fun fact about me is that I was born and raised in Xi’an, a city that served as the capital of 13 Chinese dynasties and is also home to the Terracotta Army.

When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy skiing, badminton, table tennis and going to the gym, so you can probably find me at Ethos quite often!

Why Imperial?

Studying at Imperial has been an extraordinary experience. I still remember the first lecture I attended and how impressed I was by the outstanding lecturers and students around me. Being part of such an intellectually stimulating environment has encouraged me to become more motivated and curious.

Imperial also offers a wide range of clubs and societies. Whatever your interests are, you can find like-minded people, build a sense of community and develop valuable skills by getting involved in activities beyond your studies.
