A new society for 2026/2027 we are the Experimental Aero Society, our aim is to develop wind tunnel models and test them in the 10x5 tunnel (the largest of Imperial's wind tunnels). Currently we are looking to design and develop a Le Mans Hypercar style wind tunnel model and test on the rolling road in the 10x5. There are opportunities to actively practice CFD, CAD and Electronics. Founded in collaboration with the 10x5 staff there is ample opportunity to learn lots from them too. 

You don't need any prior experience and we welcome students from any background to apply. As a new society it is an exciting opportunity to shape what the society will become. We look forward to seeing you soon!
